Don't get me wrong. I think breast feeding is great. I think that raising consciousness about how much better breast feeding is than formula is important. Still, it is hard to imagine anywhere but Berkeley where 1,136 women would get together to set a world record for simultaneously breast feeding. But they did just that this weekend, and got themselves in the Guiness Book of Records. Congratulations.
