It is a web based feed aggregator, Feedlounge. Does the world really need another RSS aggregator? Probably not, but Alex has a gift for doing great web app UI's that feel like desktop applications. I have been a fan of his Tasks applications for years, and have integrated his JS Quicktags into more than one content management system. Besides, the king of web based RSS aggregators, Mark Fletcher's Bloglines, has been resting on its laurels for quite a while now, and Rojo doesn't seem to have caught on in any major way, in spite of being built by an all star cast. So there may be an opportunity for a newcomer here. So I'd suggest checking Feedlounge out and signing up for the beta. If Alex does manage to include an open API for synchronization with desktop clients, as he has hinted at in the comments, he might even get me to switch from my highly customized version of Feed on Feeds that I have been running for the last year and a half.

I hope to have this weblog transitioned over to Wordpress in the near future, so that I can have commenting up and working again. Until then, please feel free to send me your comments via my email contact form.. Please ignore everything below this comment.
